Classroom 1 – Teaching Methodology with Ron Gillihan
In today’s classrooms, we as instructors need to be able to use multiple teaching methodology to satisfy all generations of students learning challenges. Join me in a fun filled class to exchange exciting ideas to stimulate each student and keep the classroom engaged.


Classroom 2 – The Generation Gap-Teaching in a Multi-Generational Classroom with Carol Woodard
Classrooms are full of multi-generational learners, challenging educators to customize their delivery methods for everyone from Baby Boomers to Gen Z. This program will give facilitators concrete takeaways for leading a class filled with any age group and discovering which methods work to unify the students. We’ll go back to the basics and find ways to introduce new facilitation skills to change the face of education. Whether you’ve been teaching for 50 years or have just started your career, this course will allow you to dive in and explore teaching in a way you never have before.


Classroom 3 – Students and Social Media Portfolios with Bradley Tuggle
In this class you will learn the basic fundamentals of combining business building and social media to help expand your business. Student, school owners, school staff and instructors will give you the knowledge and engage your mind on how to be relatable in today’s fast paced, and ever changing world. Help Market your school, students, and potential clients.


Classroom 4 – The Powerful Classroom with Dixie Lee Russell
Subject: Mixing Creative thinking with alternative Teaching Methods
Topic: Powerful Teaching
Step outside the normal classroom and expand your students experience with different teaching methods while stimulating creativity. Engage with your students using alternative teaching ideas that will keep you and your class learning in a fun environment with proven results while using today’s technology.


Ron Gillihan

Nashville based Master Barber and Educator Ron Gillihan, brings more than thirty years of experience and service to the craft and is honored to serve as Chairmen of the Tennessee Cosmetology and Barbers Board of Examiners; is a member of the Post-Secondary Committee of the TN Higher Education Commission; a PSI Subject Matter Expert and serves on numerous national and local advisory boards and committees


Carol Woodward

Carol Woodward has helped thousand of students reach their dreams of becoming successful in the beauty industry – while continuing to inspire the teachers who educate them. Licensed in cosmetology in the state of Texas, Carol has served as an executive school director and education director. She is the former chairperson for the Career Educator Alliance, where she served a role in planning annual events while leading a committee of more than 20 people and teaching workshops.


Bradley Tuggle

International educator and platform artist for Farouk Systems, Bradley Tuggle was introduced to the professional beauty profession at a very young age by his grandmother who owned a salon. Deeply inspired, Bradley perfected his talents at the Sassoon Academy before opening BOHO Salon in North Carolina. A firm believer in education, Bradley is also a North Carolina State Board of Cosmetic Arts licensed Teacher and Instructor.


Dixie Lee Russell

Known for her high energy and deep love for education, Dixie is the Director of Schools for Farouk System, Inc. During her 25+ years in the beauty and barbering industry she has not only worked successfully behind the chair, she has been a leader in both inside and outside sales. She has the pleasure of being trained by multiple manufactures in color, texture and other advanced techniques. In 2004 she was introduced to Farouk Systems and the rest is history. A Texas licensed cosmetologist and trained instructor, Dixie has played a major role in organizing and executing the CHI Partnered School program to over 600 schools.
